Pain in my left lower abdomen
by: Anonymous

I started bleeding about two weeks ago which lasted a week, I didn't think it was my periods as I would usually get pain just before, the bleeding has stopped but I have pain running through the whole of my left side.

Hi I had terrible periods my whole life. Pain blood clots. I found the only thing that worked for me was exercise with weights. I was very tired and in pain after I worked out my bleeding would slow down and my pain went from a 10 to about a one.

endometriosis?
by: Anonymous

I used to have similar periods and pain. I was eventually diagnosed with endometriosis when the pain became unbearable and my periods increased to two per month. This was a progression. I found the only thing that helped the pain was digestive enzymes. I would take 3-4 depending on how quickly the pain snuck up on me and continue taking them throughout the days with meals until the pain subsided. I still take them even though I no longer have a period. Buy a product that will digest all types of foods. I wish I had known about them when I was younger and started having period pain.

It's just the lining of your uterus leaving your body, which is normal during periods. The thickness and frequency/pieces with which my lining sheds differs from period to period. I used to have really painful periods but they got better as I ate less irritant foods during my period (less dairy and less red meat). If the pain is really bad though, you may want to go to the doc for some pain meds.

In response to the cramp pain
by: Anonymous

I've had similar situations before, don't take my words for it but in my experiences it was the way I've eat. I've noticed if I eat healthy then I don't have as much problems but when I simply eat nothing but junk food, that's when the problems occur. We really need to take care of ourselves and change our diet for the sake of being healthy in general. Research on what types of food that can help you prevent painful cycles, there are solutions out there it all start with our choices. :) Good luck!
