How is your left sided abdominal pain now? Is it still there? How long has this been going on for exactly? You said the pain is also in your back. Where did it start from - back or front or at about the same time?
Is there anything that seems to make the pain worse?
How old are you? Is this pain around the time of your period (menstruation)? Do you have any trouble passing urine? Any change in the frequency of passing urine or is there any burning sensation? What about your appetite?
Any relation with food types?
Do you suffer with any medical problem usually? Are you on any medication?
More information would certainly help to throw more light on the possible cause of this pain.
