Causes of pain in upper abdomen traveling from left of abdomen to right abdomen and vise versa.

I'm a Diabetic 67 yrs. old female. Was diagnosed with Colon Cancer in 2010. Had surgery to remove tumor. Also had chemo therapy all in the last year from 2010-2011. I have been having severe upper abdominal pain just below the breast since the surgery and the chemo treatment. Pain transversing from left side to right side and vise versa. Lots of bloating along with the pain in the upper abdomen. I have been diagnosed with a few small Gallbladder stones but seems to not bother me as I don't have too much pain in that region. No history of allergy to medication. I am on Medformin for my Diabetes.
