dull pain thru my outer left side

I have had a dull pain thru my outer left side.
This has been going on for a few months now. I thought that with changing my diet would help but to no avail. 8 yrs ago I was told I had IBS, diverticulitis (sp), and I had 3 polyps removed.
I also have an aortic valve prolapse with regurgitation. This was found 6 yrs ago.
With no health insurance I can't go to the Dr. I was hoping if you could hopefully let me know if this is something I need to worry about right away or should I learn to live with it until I can hopefully get insurance?
I thank you for your help and advance.
PS. Not sure if this is needed but I'm 5ft5in and 165 lbs and fight bloating all the time.
