congestive pelvic disorder

This condition could be thought of as varicose veins in the pelvic area. It CAN cause discomfort, and the enlarged veins will be seen in a CT scan (a test not often performed due to expense).

It's a fairly rare condition, and is often missed in diagnosing pain. If there is no other reason for the pain and all other tests have been exhausted, are inconclusive and unhelpful, consider this as a possibility and push for a CT scan. Google it for better info than I can provide here without simply copying and pasting!
