Hello. starting in 2004 i started I have these really bad abdominal pain issues.
The pain would come on suddenly and it would travel down my abdomen almost always on the left side until it came to the end of my anus and then
I would always have a bowel movement. 95% of the time my stool was like small nuggets. There are times when the pain also takes over my mid to lower back.
The pain comes in increments of anywhere between one to five minutes and it can last anywhere between 30 seconds to 2 minutes. The pain is so severe that all I could do is scream and clench my fists.
I can not move if I am standing or sitting I must remain in my position. I have to breathe in and out very fast as if I were in labor and having a baby in order for it to passed, this continues until I have a bowel movement. This attack can occur from anywhere of 1-3 times a week. to 4x a month.
I have noticed that foods like cheese constipate me and bring on these attacks sometimes. There have been many times when I eat cheese that I have these attacks. There are also times when I don't eat cheese for a long time and I have these attacks but almost always I am constipated when the attacks comes on.
I hate going through it because the pain is so severe I have never had pain like this at times I feel like my heart is going to stop. I never make it to the hospital because once all the gas comes out and I have a bowel movement I am ok. There are also times when I get really bad lower left abdominal pain but its due to gas and the pain is really bad also. I only get relief when I fart.
Every step I take is painful, with this one I don't usually have to use the bathroom just fart. Please help me with diagnosis of these bad abdominal pain issues.
I have no medical problems and I am not on any medications.
