Epiploic Appendagitis Diagnosed After Symptoms Of Appendicitis Developed

I had all of the symptoms of appendicitis but because my appendix had been removed over 40 years ago, this could not be the case.
The hospital was very thorough in trying to find the cause of my pain. I had no fever and felt quite well with the exception of this dull recurrent pain that had lasted for 3 days.
Blood tests as well as other tests came back as normal.
A cat scan was requested which soon found the cause of the problem. The pain slowly went away after that.
