I have intermittent twisting pain of my left side, abdominal area. I would say flank pain. I have no left kidney, so that rules out kidney. I am thinking probably, just irritable bowel. I am usually constipated.
I am 54 y.o. female with Sarcoidosis, which has been stable. Meds, I take are: Tramadol, Simvastatin, Prilosec, Lunesta, and Benadryl
I am guess that it is mostly constipation. I have no other symptoms and not feeling sick.
Yes. It might well be constipation, but it could also be diverticulitis, or even from your left ovary. Why not see your doctor for detailed assessment and some tests if necessary?

Left side lower abdomenal pain near waistline & back by: Anonymous
Hi,I hope you could help me. There is a recurring pain in the lower left side of my abdomen and back left side too. I have this for almost 3 months already. A gastroenterologist diagnosed me with dyspepsia in November. I was relieved but the pain is still there on my left side. And now the pain is getting worser. Its like my tummy is also getting wider. It occurs sometimes after eating and I sometimes have to go to the loo 2x a day w/ slightly watery stools and I feel relieved. Thank you

left lower abdominal pain by: patriciaAnonymous
Bonjour, I live in France. I have extensive spinal arthritis and glaucoma in both eyes. I take structoflex and zalatan drops respectively, as treatment. Over the past 8 months, I have had constant, severe lower back pain and a nagging, stitch-like pain in my left side. I have always suffered from constipation, with a current change of faeces which resemble sheep-droppings! The constipation is eased by doses of isphagula in water but returns.I also have gallstones...what a wreck! I am very active and a youthful 68 but am finding the pains above detrimental to my quality of life. Bravo for your site et bonne continuation.
