right side and abdominal pain

I am a 43 yr old woman with a total hysterectomy. For about 3 weeks i have been having a dull aching pain in my lower back which radiates to my right side just under my rib cage. Lately it has also been radiating to my stomach area. My belly button is hard above it and mushy under. My bowel movements have changed dramatically. Some days it is constipation and others it is a soft stool or diareah. I had my gallbladder and appendix removed. I dont know why i am having these pains and have been to the dr and a ct scan was ordered and everything looked fine. I am confused and frustrated with these pains and dont know what to do.

Hi Virginia.

It sounds like you may need to exclude abdominal adhesions as the cause of your pain, if CT scan and every other tests are normal.

There were no visible abdominal adhesions seen on the ct scan. And i cant have an mri done due to having a neurospine stimulator implant done
