lower left abdominal pain?

I have been having lower left abdominal pain especially when i sit down or stand up and when im walking, its quite painfull, when im sat still i cant feel a thing.

I have have been having unprotected sex with my partner also for the past 2months i had my last period on the 25th of December. Im very sure ive had this pain before when i was not sexually active. Anybody know what this might be? Thanx.
