lower belly pain a little to left

Husband lower belly pain a little to left.
Husband has had this pain for 3-4months its a constant irritating pain that won't go away had a colonoscopy came out with some polyps all negative.
We went to another Dr he ran CT Scan on the intestines and other part of belly the Dr said he thought it could be a strain we are not agreeing he is still in pain so we are back to the drawing board
