enlarged bile duct - inflamed gall bladder

by Victoria
(Channel Islands)

Started 5 weeks ago and i am getting an attack of severe pain now once a week. uncannily it seems to come every sunday night/monday morning.

i can't find anything to tie it to what i am eating and have been keeping a food diary so i can eliminate any cause of the pain. it is excruciating. is there any chance that my exercise class on a sunday morning is related - it is high intensity and pretty hardcore. when i exercise during the rest of the week it isn't quite so tough. i am going back to see the surgeon for a more detailed scan in a couple of weeks.

Painkillers are relatively ineffectual. please some guidance would be good. i would hate to have to curb my exercise regime as i am losing weight and toning up and it is much needed. i am only 33 and yes overweight but gradually becoming less so.

I have tramadol, diclofenac, diazepam, buscopan and co-codamol. one night i took 2 of each it was that bad. not good i know but it was that or just curl up and hope to die. having had 3 children naturally and without pain relief i can honestly say there is no pain like this. even 2 shots of morphine at the hospital didn't ease it once.

i don't consider myself to have a low pain threshold. i can pretty much stand most things but this is in a league of its own. So your thoughts on the exercise please........
